Pizza Pazza is located at the Koufu foodcourt on the basement of Orchard Cineleisure and its bright signboards are not something that your eyes could possibly miss if you're taking the escalator down from the first level. This stall offers a range of pasta dishes and other Western fare at pretty affordable prices and I have to say most of them taste quite good too. A diamond in the rough surely.
Crayfish Marinara: 3/5
Unlike the simple but pleasant chicken chop spaghetti that I had previously, this crayfish marinara failed to impress me much because it lacked flavour. The batter used for the crayfishes was quite bland actually, while the crayfishes themselves would have fared better if they were just a bit fresher. The spaghetti sauce should be thicker as well. I should really have tried the softshell crab marinara instead.
Chicken Primavera: 3.5/5
Daphne likes this for its simplicity. I think it's partly because she seldom eats her pasta in the aglio olio stlye, which to me is a refreshing change away from the usual creamy or tomato-based pasta sauces.
Chicken Chop Spaghetti: 3.5/5
I had this a couple of days later. If the spaghetti sauce was only a bit thicker, this would have scored at least a 3.75. Nevertheless, it would exceed any kind of low expectations that you may have of foodcourt-served "Western" food, with the pasta and chicken done to a very savoury level. The portion is quite generous given the price that you are paying for ($5.90), but most importantly many wannabe Western outlets would probably charge thrice the price for this. The soft-shell crab and marinara pastas look awesome as well, (if anyone has tried it please share!) else I would visit this place soon once again.
