If somehow you get tired of novelty ice-creams at Island Creamery and want something simpler, or perhaps you just need that little sweet something to complete your meal, say after a hearty brunch at Riders Cafe, may I suggest to you this hidden gem tucked at quiet Greenwood Avenue. This gelato parlour seems to be a small, modest family-run business and its simple (but most satisfying) gelati here has all the touches of homemade goodness.
Wild Berry and Cookies & Cream: 4.5/5
The Cookies & Cream gelato is certainly one of the best that I've eaten, especially since it's more milky than many of its counterparts. It also has small chunks of what I take to be either cookies or (more likely) cookie dough. The Wild Berry flavour meanwhile was sour without being overwhelming, and adequately sweet as a sorbet, just the way I like it.
Service
Very good.

$3.90 for a small cup with a choice of two flavours.

26 Greenwood Avenue, Hillcrest Park.
