I didn't really want to eat toast nor laksa at Toast Box, but persuaded Daphne to eat there anyways because I wanted to drink the milo dinosaur haha! She was soooo nice to oblige and chose to eat laksa since the nasi lemak was sold out.
Laksa: 7.5/10
Both of us felt it was pretty good (I tasted bits of it), though Daphne isn't entirely a fan of the "mee tai mak" noodle, which is a thicker version of the usual laksa noodle. I like the gravy because it was thick and spicy while Daphne prefers hers to be less thick. See, taste is always subjective =)
Service
Satisfactory. Staff quick to clear tables to make way for new customers.
Price
It's a $5.50 set together with an iced "homemade" barley drink.
Place
Raffles City Shopping Centre Basement 1
Beside BreadTalk #B1-44A.
